Our extraordinary group is an all-volunteer organization of dedicated individuals whose goal is to further the presence of the Museum throughout our community. We host events at the Museum during the year, and events offsite as well. Some of them include:

Judy Madsen Johnson, author of a book about the life of artist Joy Postle Blackstone, titled,
"Joy Cometh in the Morning: The Joy Postle Blackstone Story" will speak and autograph books.
October Guild Program - Tuesday, October 11, 11am
Guild's Fall luncheon at the Halifax River Yacht Club with "Fabulous Holiday Decorating" by local interior decorators.
Dinner and Dice - Saturday, October 8, 5 to 9 pm
"Dinner and Dice" Casino Night at the Palmetto Club. $35 per person includes dinner and some free gambling money.
November Guild Program- Tuesday, November 8, 10 am
Inside the Planetarium's 40 foot hemispherical dome, Seth Mayo, will present a breathtaking view of the entire night sky and present a full-dome laser show.
Halifax Art Festival - Saturday and Sunday, November 5 - 6
Halifax Art Festival in Riverfront Park on historic Beach Street, Daytona Beach, free to the public.
Festival of Trees Gala - Thursday, November 17, 6-9 pm
The Gala at the Museum of Arts and Sciences offers a preview of beautifully decorated Holiday trees, musical entertainment, champagne, food prepared by local restaurants, and a Holiday Boutique. $35 per person.
Festival of Trees - Friday, November 18 to Sunday, December
Festival of Trees at the Museum of Arts and Sciences. Decorated Holiday trees and wreaths will be on display for viewing and sale. Free to the public with admission to Museum or free to Museum members.

Daniel Ambrose, Southeast American landscape artist, will discuss and demonstrate the elusive, ethereal qualities of egg tempera painting. Daniel paints coastal marsh and mountain scenery and is known for his exquisite treatment of light.

Cynthia Duval, Chief Curator, will conduct a tour through the state-of-the-art Helene B. Roberson Visible Storage Building at the Museum which displays important works in glass-fronted, open storage format and contains artifacts not currently on exhibition. This Building is unique in the state of Florida and is the only such facility for art and decorate art objects.
